Course overview

The programme is made up of two modules.  The first part of the course focuses on helping students achieve the necessary CEFR language level, (B2), to be eligible for university entrance. This is the minimum language level necessary for all universities.

We believe that students who attain this level will also have sufficiently good Italian to really enjoy their chosen course and gives them a good opportunity to do well on their chosen degree course.

The second module of the programme focuses on specific university preparation. The course curriculum is tailored to the fields the students plan to study at the university and to the exams they need to take to be admitted to a particular department

The school prepares students for the Entrance Examination in Architecture, Academy of Fine Arts, Medicine, Veterinary, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering.

Course content

The programme includes an in-depth study of the language with focus on study skills, an overview of the main aspects of Italian culture and training on logical skills.

Emphasis is therefore on the preparation in those subjects required by the departments that apply selective entry.

Teaching methodology

Each group is taught by two teachers a day in order to ensure more varied and stimulating instruction. Each level can be completed in 4 weeks. At the end of each course after successful completion of a test you can progress to the next level.

Classes are lively, stimulating and most of all enjoyable. Students are provided with useful vocabulary and relevant grammar presented in a modern and interesting way.

We estimate that each level can be completed in around four weeks. On successful completion of a language test you can then go on to take the next level.
