Damian spent some 22 years living and working in various different countries in Africa and the Middle East, for several different leading international airlines, in senior country and regional manager roles. He began his career as Sales Manager for West Africa for British Caledonian Airways based in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Most recently he was bmi’s (British Midland International), Regional Manager for North Africa, based in Cairo.

During his time in Africa his various managerial positions covered all aspects of the airline business, from marketing and sales to managing large teams of people, to dealing with governments and their representatives.

He has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to have lived and worked in so many different and interesting countries from Zambia in the Southern part of Africa, to Egypt in the North. This experience has enabled him to build an excellent rapport with relevant businesses, travel trade partners and the British Council and British Embassies in many countries across the region.

In many of the countries that he worked in, flying young people to the UK to learn English, in England, in the summer months, was the mainstay of the airline’s summer business.

Understanding and being in a position to empathise with and contribute to this extremely important market segment played a significant role in ensuring the success of many a summer revenue and performance budget.

Max Hunt

Max has over 30 years commercial experience in sales and marketing mainly in the aviation sector working with, bmi British Midland Airways, Lufthansa German British Airways Airlines and United Airlines.  In addition he has 10 years experience in the Middle East, Africa, Indian Sub-Continent & Commonwealth of Independent states [CIS] markets & previous to that in Europe, US and Canada and has built up an enviable client list.

His experience covers sales training / coaching, strategic planning & change management & provides solutions to commercial problems.

Max is an excellent communicator with a motivational management style that resonates across many cultures and countries with a reputation for building highly motivated and successful teams that enjoy empowerment to make decisions.

He is a self-motivated individual, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm with a passion to achieve and to consistently deliver results to make a difference.
