Course overview

The Premium English course combines group study in the morning with one-to-one lessons. This allows you to focus on even more specific areas of your needs as well as make faster progress. 

There are various afternoon classes to choose from which focus on your areas of special need or interest. You can take each module for between 4 and 12 weeks. You will be carefully placed in a class with other students who have the same strengths as you in this area.

The teaching method is based on the school’s thoroughly researched syllabus, up to date teaching materials, and excellent teaching methods ensures all students will make fast progress. The school’s course books are based on the latest research into English as it is really used in everyday situations. 

Classes have a digital component so each week you will be watching videos connected with the topic, vocabulary and grammar.

You can be confident that the school’s professional, qualified teachers will always respond to the needs of the class, using an assortment of learning materials and techniques. 

You will also be expected to complete daily homework assignments and sample tests.

 

 

Afternoon classes

Fluency Fast track

Practise everyday conversation in a relaxed environment. Talk to other students and teachers about things that interest you – a different topic each week.

Australian studies

Learn interesting facts about Australian culture, history, sport, travel destinations and lots more.

Language through song

Improve your listening skills and learn new vocabulary. You don’t have to be good at singing to enjoy this class!

Pronunciation

Learn how to make your English sound clear and natural. These workshops given by specialist ELC teachers focus on a different aspect of pronunciation each week.

Independent studies

Study independently with a teacher available to answer your questions. Use this time however you need to, for example: complete exam practice, do extra grammar and vocabulary activities to prepare your work resume with the teacher’s help

Note: Subjects offered may vary according to the time of the year. Some modules require a higher level of English.
