Course overview
One of the key aims of any English language summer school is to help students improve and develop their English learning schools. Whilst that is a great objective in itself it can be a bit one dimensional.
This excellent course combines language learning with some excellent excursions and activities to ensure that students go home feeling that they have developed their English skills, learnt more about England, made new friends, and most importantly of all had a really enjoyable time
English lessons
Students are taught in a fun and innovative way, in small classes of no more than 15 students. The aim of the English classes is to bring English alive and make it real.
Lessons focus on the core principles of language learning namely -speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Activities
Many activities are designed to complement what students have learnt in the morning in the classroom. The school, is in a great location close to the sea and has extensive grounds and gardens.
There is an indoor swimming pool, as well as volley ball and basket ball courts. Students can choose from a range of sports including soccer, volleyball and swimming. Non sporting activities include arts and crafts and beach activities.
Excursions
The excursion programme includes two half day excursions and one full day excursion every week. London is on the list of places each week as well as, on occasions, Portsmouth and Brighton
