Introduction

It is hard to believe, that such a peaceful place is part of a big city like Berlin, and yet it is. The city centre is within easy reach, and you´ll get to see all the trendy places in Berlin while you are on this course.

You will visit some cool cafes, fancy shops and of course famous highlights such as Berlin´s new downtown  Potsdamer Platz, Museumsinsel or the  Berliner Wall!

Morning classes

In the morning the focus is on learning German and much of the emphasis is on spoken German. There is a lot of encouragement and assistance given and the aim is for students to feel confident and comfortable and at ease with the learning process.

The course also covers the four fundamentals of language - listening, writing, reading and speaking. Teachers actively encourage ‘free’ class discussions, role-playing and interactive conversation all of which help students in their overall learning process.

Teaching method

The focus is on the following:

  • Communicative approach with teachers encouraging students to speak as much as possible
  • Teachers continuously correct and help students and encourage them to repeat and do better
  • The aim is that German is the only language spoken in class, from the first day onward
