Royal Ascot is without doubt the world's most famous race meeting. In fact horse racing at Ascot was first recorded in 1711. It is also close to some wonderful countryside and famous landmarks such as Windsor Castle, the River Thames and Runnymede - home of the Magna Carta
It is close, but not too close, to London Heathrow as well as being a short train ride from the centre of London.
