Horsham is a very pleasant market town with some great shops and traditional English pubs. In days gone by Horsham was formerly trading in cattle, sheep and corn. Horsham is a commuter town serving London and Brighton. There are are frequent train services to London Victoria which is about forty five minutes away. The town of Horsham has grown up around the Carfax which is an ancient meeting place. Horsham is home to the new and old and there are tranquil streets of houses erected in the 17th, 18th and early 19th century as well as bustling shopping areas. It is a wonderful place to come and learn English in close proximity to London. For culture lovers the Horsham Museum is situated at the northerly end of the town and offers an interesting insight into the town's heritage.
