The building is 100 metres from the famous University of Salamanca and just two minutes away from the stunning and magnificent Plaza Mayor. The school is a restored 16th-century monastery, whose modern materials used for the recent renovation create a natural balance with the style, class and richness of previous centuries. Social programme

The school's philosophy is that leisure activities are both an integral part of, as well as complementary to, the classroom study experience.

In order to help achieve this the school offers an extensive after class activity programme to help you get the very best out of your stay. Each week the school posts a lists of activities in the student centre for that week.

Activities may include anything from wine tasting evenings to museum visits, talks about Spanish culture and even flamenco dancing. All these things will help you gain a more in-depth understanding of the culture and customs of Spain.

Other activities such as singing classes are an interesting and fun addition to your Spanish course and your overall learning experience. Some activities are free, others there is a small charge

Excursions

To enable you to discover other places in Spain, the school organises half-day, full day or weekend trips on Saturdays and / or Sundays. You will also have the opportunity to engage in ‘intercambios’ or exchanges with native speakers outside the classroom.
