Social Activities and Excursions

There is an exciting social and cultural calendar and the school actively encourages you to socialise with your fellow students. You’ll also get to know the teaching staff outside of the classroom environment.

The social calendar lasts throughout the year. The varied programme of activities includes cultural excursions salsa lessons, games evenings, films, barbecues, sports activities, quizzes, cooking and much more.

Various clubs and societies are organised and run by the students themselves and by the Social Organiser.

Each week there are at least two evening activities organised in conjunction with the school staff. These may include salsa lessons, games evenings, barbecues, sports activities, quizzes, cooking or baking sessions, wine and cheese evenings, cream tea evenings and many more.

Note: The majority of these activities are free. Otherwise they cost between £1 and £10.

Excursions

There are a range of trips available to London and other places of interest and visits include The British Museum, The National Gallery, The Tate Britain, The Tate Modern, The Natural History Museum and The Science Museum.

Students also have the opportunity of visiting Chartwell (home of Sir Winston Churchill), Salisbury and Stonehenge, Portsmouth, Lewes, Cambridge, Oxford and many more towns and cities in the area.
