Social programme
Yes you are a teacher of French so we know that you don't need us to tell you anything about French culture or France. So we are not going to !!!
However we are confident you will agree that it is important to have some ‘down time’ as well, where you can inhale all that is Gallic.
In fact, part of the fun of learning French, is being able to get under the skin of France and the French. It not only helps you really enjoy your stay but more importantly it is a brilliant way of helping you immerse totally into all things French.
Activities and excursions
Each week the school arranges excursions and activities for students to enjoy, and take part in, and there is a Programme Notice posted in the students’ common room. Some activities are complimentary while for others there is a small charge.
Excursions to places like Grasse, the world famous centre for perfume, or St Tropez and Monte Carlo home to the rich, glamorous and famous are on offer, as well as a host of other great places.
The school also offers a range of activities from Petanque, to wine tasting, to visits to local museums. All of which help you to discover the region and its attractions and wonderful culture.
Note: This programme fulfils the requirements for French teachers who work within the European Union to benefit from the employment training grants available in the field of language teaching from the EU - Comenius funding
