Junior learners need variety

The Junior 8 to 12 year olds syllabus is a well-structured framework for young learners. Lessons promote speaking, reading, listening and writing skills practice to increase language fluency but also the opportunity to improve language accuracy with challenging grammar exercises and focus on new vocabulary.

The syllabus is complemented by culture themed lessons, focusing on different aspects of British life, including music, sport, literature and history. They are an opportunity for students to find out more about their host culture and compare their cultural experience and background with that of other students.

On arrival all students sit a written and oral exam to identify which level study is the most appropriate for them

Based on continuous assessment throughout their stay all students receive a Report Card and Certificate of Attendance at the end of their course.
